Uzma Chowdhury, Associate Editor

Uzma Chowdhury is a fourth year from Lawrenceville, Georgia pursuing degrees in English and Political Science as well as minors in French, Spanish, and Arabic. As a result of her mutual love of each English and Political Science, she is especially fascinated by word-smithing and propaganda techniques in campaign politics and political speeches. Her overall goals for the future include working in education reform, promoting literacy, and minimizing the opportunity gap for young people both nationally and internationally. As a Public Service and Outreach Scholar interning at the Fanning Institute, Uzma continues to work with at risk populations of children, helping them to pursue and fund post-secondary educations. In her free time, you can find Uzma reading on North Campus  Uzma knows every possible minute detail about Harry Potter/Arrested Development and loves well-placed puns, orange kittens, Twinings Earl Grey with milk, and Prince Harry.
