Victoria Barker, Associate Editor

Victoria Barker is a third year from Suwanee, Georgia pursing bachelor degrees in International Affairs and Russian and a master’s degree in International Policy. After numerous trips to orphanages in Russia, Victoria has become passionate about understanding the causes of the orphan crisis in Eastern Europe and plans to work towards finding a solution to this problem. She is currently researching human trafficking trends for the CIRI Human Rights Data Project and plans to attend law school to be a voice for reform in the conditions that are allowing for human trafficking and fueling the orphan crisis. In her spare time she enjoys painting, drinking tea and french press coffee, playing with cats, writing letters and reading travel magazines.
