Lauren Anderson, Associate Editor
Lauren is a junior International Affairs major minoring in African Studies, Anthropology and Human Geography from Macon, GA. She is currently a Public Service and Outreach Student Scholar at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, where she is researching governance and ethnic identity issues in Eastern Europe. This past summer, she studied abroad in South Africa and conducted research concerning South African youth perceptions of transitional justice, race relations and politics as a CURO Summer Fellow. Inspired by the community development opportunities she took part in while overseas, Lauren also serves as the CFO of Ubuntu, a micro-lending NGO aimed at granting financial loan assistance to female entrepreneurs in South African townships. In addition, she is a member of several honors societies on campus and a Content Editor for the Journal for Undergraduate Research Opportunities.
