Hammad Khalid, Staff Writer
Hammad Khalid is a second-year Biology major from Duluth, Georgia. He plans on obtaining a Master of Public Health degree with the hopes of pursuing a career at the intersection of public health and medicine. Hammad is particularly passionate about journalism and enjoys writing articles for the Red and Black and UGA’s PreMed Magazine. Some of his other interests include conducting biochemistry research at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center and mentoring children at the Thomas Lay After School Program. In his spare time, Hammad loves following NBA basketball, discovering new music, and catching up on his perpetually-expanding reading list.
