Garrett is a junior from Brunswick, Georgia, whose interests include electoral geography and the impacts of gerrymandering; the legislative process; and city and regional planning, especially concerning environmental, land use, and transportation issues. He is pursuing a dual-degree in geography and political science, a statistics minor, and a geographic information science certificate. He intends to continue on to graduate school and someday work with a planning firm or research laboratory. In his spare time, Garrett enjoys discovering local shops and restaurants, contributing to Wikipedia, playing around with Google Earth, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs in Sanford Stadium, and spending time with friends and family.
