Yuliya Bila, Assistant Senior Editor
Yuliya Bila is a fourth year Russian, Spanish and International Affairs Major from Canton, Georgia. A native of Ukraine raised in the Czech Republic, she is heavily interested in European affairs, especially at the intersection of E.U., U.S. and Russian interests. Yuliya speaks Ukrainian, Russian, Czech and Spanish and has lived and studied in multiple countries. She is also actively involved in AIESEC, the global student-run organization that empowers youth and creates international work exchange opportunities to promote peace through cross-cultural understanding.
Yuliya plans to further her linguistic and regional studies in graduate school and eventually wants to work in the field of international diplomacy. Her long-term dream is to improve U.S.-Russian relations and to help facilitate cooperation in pursuit of their mutual interests. In her spare time, Yuliya enjoys traveling, reading, playing tennis, and listening to music in foreign languages.
