Writer Biography: Jacqueline Van De Velde

Jacqueline Van De Velde, Staff Writer

Jacqueline is a senior from Saint Simons Island, Georgia, pursuing a B.A. in International Affairs and dual B.A. and M.A. in postcolonial English literature. Through the UGA Foundation Fellowship, Jacqueline has pursued extensive travel, research, and internship opportunities, including internships at the U.S. Department of State, INTERPOL, and the Carter Center. She ultimately plans to attend law school and pursue a public service career at the crossroads of international law and foreign policy. When she’s not writing hard-hitting articles for the Georgia Political Review, she enjoys reading, running, and trying out new recipes.
