Alliance of College Editors

The Alliance of Collegiate Editors (ACE) is a nonpartisan consortium of thirteen collegiate sociopolitical publications, including the 27 collegiate chapters of the Triple Helix Science in Society Review. Its mission is to increase sociopolitical dialogue among collegiate campuses across the United States and abroad. It achieves its goals through both editorial and publishing initiatives.

Members include the Harvard Political Review, Harvard Salient, Princeton’s American Foreign Policy, Columbia Political Review, Penn Political Review, Brown Spectator, Stanford Review, Berkeley Political Review, Duke Gothic Guardian, Washington University Political Review Fordham Political Review, George Mason University’s Historical News Network, and the Triple Helix Science in Society Review.

Editorially, ACE organizes multiple ACE Forums every month, which either feature cross-campus writing and debate on a central topic, or feature cross-campus interviews with prominent individuals involved with significant sociopolitical issues. Interviewees have included Rebiya Kadeer, the leader of the Uighur human rights movement outside of China, and Mark Rudd, a founding member of the Weather Underground.

Finally, ACE builds partnerships with mainstream media outlets. Its recent partnership is with the Huffington Post, which has agreed to publish outstanding ACE Forum articles. ACE was also featured in this article from The Nation magazine.
